Experience a night of Shakespeare under the stars in Centennial Park August 9th - September 9th in this family-friendly production of Shakespeare’s most-loved comedy, A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The Nashville Shakespeare Festival continues its 30th anniversary season with a celebratory production of Shakespeare’s classical comedy, "A Midsummer Night’s Dream". This magical play, directed by Jaclynn Jutting with an original score by Rollie Mains played live by the composer, explores the duality of love and asks: if we are in love are we ever in control? Bring the whole family (even the dog), a blanket or chairs, grab some food from the delicious local food trucks, and watch Shakespeare under the stars on a warm summer night. If you’d like to enjoy the evening in style with dinner, VIP seating, and reserved parking, a Royal Package is available. 6:00pm – Food & drink vendors open 6:00pm – Talking Shakespeare with nightly special guest speakers begins 6:30pm – Preshow entertainment begins 7:30pm – Performance begins
