Country Music is an eight-episode, 16-hour documentary giving viewers a deep look into country music history and the key artists and sub-genres that made it so diverse, from its humble beginnings through the mid-1990s. Much of the film centers on Nashville, its unique people, artists and venues – including at a significant level, Opry Entertainment venues. The film will intrigue, educate, entertain, and inspire viewers and is expected to have a growth impact on Nashville tourism for years to come.
To celebrate the first evening and premiere to public television of the documentary, Opry Entertainment will hold a first episode live viewing and celebration event at the Opry House on Sunday, Sept. 15 from 5 to 9 p.m.
Tickets are $75 and available for purchase starting at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 23.
