Clara Schumann Festival Concert

Historian Jim Lovensheimer will tell the life story of the famed pianist Clara Schumann as pianists Matt Phelps, Kristian Klefstad and Ben Harris are joined by violinist Elisabeth Small, cellist Carmine Miranda, and Blair voice students to perform Schumann's music.

Nashville Symphony: Tchaikovsky's Fifth

The Nashville Symphony opens the season with Tchaikovsky's brilliant Fifth Symphony. Also notable on the program is music by Adolphus Hailstork. An American Port of Call was written in 1985 and portrays the bustling port of Norfolk, Virginia. 91Classical will present a live broadcast of the concert on Saturday night. Attendees in person will, for the first time ever, be offered a free Nashville Symphony T-shirt.

Woven Theater: Initiative

Main character David sees his life through the lens of the game Dungeons and Dragons, even as he fights aggressive cancer, in this play by Jacob York.
